The 13,000-square-foot building of the Dakota Dinosaur Museum contains more than a dozen life-sized replica skeletons, including an authentic skeleton of a triceratops. In addition to its stunning displays of dinosaur-related fossils and informative exhibits, the museum also showcases the fossils of other ancient creatures as well as rare rocks and mineral samples. It sits beside the Dickinson Museum Center, which contains attractions including the Joachim Regional Museum and Prairie Outpost Park.
